Junior Neighbour Hood Support

Welcome

The aim of the Junior Neighbourhood Support programme is,

"TO PROMOTE
A SENSE OF PRIDE, SAFETY AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT
IN CHILDREN, THEIR SCHOOLS AND THEIR WIDER COMMUNITY
"

This programme is supported by the New Zealand Police, New Zealand Fire Service and Civil Defence and acknowledges those children who are contributing to their community in a positive way. Some children who have been nominated for an award will be presented with a certificate and a sponsored prize at an assembly.    It is possible that a representative from one of the emergency services will be available to present a related award and address the assembly.

For this programme to be a success we need the commitment and support of the students and their families, teaching staff and the wider community.

We encourage you to complete a nomination form for any child who you feel would be most deserving to be a recipient of such an award. Nomination forms can be filled in on the Nominations Online page and also be obtained from your primary school.   These forms can be submitted at any time throughout the year.

Many thanks

Elissa Smith
Junior Neighbourhood Support Co-ordinator.
